AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE SOUTH MISSISSIPPI CHAPTER OF THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, is authorized, in its discretion, to contribute from any available funds of the county, an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) during calendar year 1999 to the South Mississippi Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
